Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everybody!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Halloween! Today at work, everyone was dressed up, it was a lot of fun. Tonight Gary and I are planning on sitting on the front porch, and handing out candy. It should be a lot of fun! So.. when I get home I have to put out our "Marcus the Carcus" and then we have a 8 foot inflateable pumpkin that has to go up! I might even scare some kids! Gary and I jump right into the Halloween spirit of things!

I hope everyone has a wonderful, and safe Halloween!

Nothing New Here..

I wish I had some great and exciting news, however I don't. I guess you might say weren't not too exciting these days.

Thursday night I went and got my hair done..finally! It was long over due. I had some carmelly color put in along with the blonde. It turned out pretty good.

Our bathtub faucet has been leaking, so Friday night, Gary and I went and bought a new one. However, I had to work on Saturday (and it's a two person job) and then today (Sunday) both of us are tired and napped through out the day, so alas, the faucet still leaks!

Saturday night, we went to a Halloween party! That was fun. My sister put rented out the clubhouse at her apartment complex. Everyone dressed up. We had music going, jello shots and a big black, bubbling cauldron filled with spiked, yummy punch. I dressed up like a cat, and Gary dressed up like a biker dude. Gary had a black, handle bar mustache, and he even wore fake tattoos. We danced for quite awhile, and carried on, and then we all headed over to Becky's apartment. We had a great time.

I can't believe that October is just about over! I look back over this year, and think where has the time gone? I am looking forward to see what this year will bring to the Osbeck household.

On the workforce, nothing seems to be happening there. I still am not hired in! It's kind of discouraging! I am praying that Auto-Owners will call soon so that I can at least have an interview soon.

She Works Hard For Her Money....

These next few weeks are going to be busy ones for me, I am hopefully working every Saturday until Thanksgiving. I am trying to earn some extra money to bank. Yesterday I made $100. in five hours!! I have been doing demos. They are great because you can make $9hrly, and you can kinda decide what days you want, or if you want to take a day off, you just don't schedule one which is another great bonus.

Well, I finally got new glasses. I am really excited about them, and it's really nice to be able to see! My glasses are kinda funky, but not too weird. My glasses are part of the SEE line.. they have some great styles, and they really aren't that expensive.

Well, I did it, I finally put in my app at Auto-Owners again. I was really nervous about going back there, but I went really smoothly. The recruiter was very warm, and friendly. So please pray that I can get an interview and be hired into a great department. This whole job thing is getting old! I am tired of struggling with the issue!

Can you believe that October is almost over? I was down in the basement, pulling out my Halloween decorations, and was all my Christmas wreaths, etc. and got excited because in a month, I will be able to put Chrismas decorations up! ( I decorate the weekend of Thanksgiving)

Everyone have a great week! I am off to get my clothes around for work tomorrow, and then off to bed.

Is It Fall or Winter?

I can't believe this weather! Thursday, it was snowing and blowing! One would think we were in about mid November or December! Secretly, I didn't mind it. It was nice to come home to a nice, warm house and put on a sweat suit, and cuddle up while watching the Thursday night line up. However, I am glad that it's sunny and about 50degrees out today.

While out shopping, I noticed that all the Christmas stuff was out! Yeah! I love Christmas! This year I was fortunate enough to find my Christmas cards already! Jill and Kelli, I don't think that I am going to have any competion this year! I am going to be "first place" for sure! They were just what I was looking for!

Today, Gary and I got up and ran up to Wal-mart. Gary has been wanting a little fire bowl, pit time thingings for quite some time. He thinks it would great to burn up all the little sticks, twigs and whatever he can find! Fortuantely, Wal-mart had one priced at $50. which is a really great deal. So now that we are home, Gary has already assembled it and has a fire going.. what a pyro! Tonight Gary and I are heading to some friends house to carve pumkins and drink, it should be a good time

Well, I am off! Have to take out the Dijorno pizza out of the oven!! Have a great day!

Pray for Us...

Please pray for us, Gary and I are considering adopting internationally. We are thinking adopting from India because there are so many little girls that need a home. The cost of an adoption like this is about $25,000. It looks like a big mountain at this point, however I feel like the money will come, we just need to have faith. Please pray for us !!

Half Way There!

It's "hump" day, almost through the week! Yeah! This weekend is our anniversary. It will be six yrs of marriage! Hard to believe! I guess the saying "Time flies when you're having fun is true!"

For our anniversary, we don't plan on doing anything special. We are getting up and going to brunch. After our brunch, we are going to Uncle John's Cider mill, so that should be fun. In the afternoon, we are planning on coming home, and having some friend over to watch the UofM vs. MSU game.. which should be a good time.

Well, I am heading off to watch "America's Next Top Model" have a good night!
